The Air Jordan 4 Thunder originally dropped in 2006, then retroed in 2012, and dropped again this year with minor differences between the 3 drops. The yellow jumpman logo in the middle of the box gives an indicative glimpse of the shoes. The pair is actually really cool and the colors are just on point, the yellow glows the black material in a flawless manner especially around the mesh area. The yellow flight on the tongue fits perfectly and contrasts well with the look. It seems like the thunder drops are always made to shine and stand out among all colorways. The yellow pops off the black better than the Red Thunders. The tongue feels a bit enlarged or at least yellow on the inner side gives this impression. Although the shoes have a typical Jordan 4 look, the quality is incomparable with the Jordan 4 Retro Lightning. This is definitely not the best Jordan 4 retro ever made in terms of quality of material, but the interesting colorway snatches the spotlight and entertains the vision.
